Now spring has finally started, it is time to get rid of your winter clothes and replace them with new summer gear! This spring it’s all about prints and color. Pastels or neons, you can’t go bold enough! Although a color such as beige is always classic, it can easily become boring and dull. To prevent this from happening just combine it with a printed, multi-colored item and it immediately gives your outfit a happy vibe!
Out of all prints that exist, florals are definitely the most in-style ones. During last month’s Fashion Weeks, “flowery” outfits were posted regularly on all street style blogs. Some of them were over the top, but most of them were FAN-TAS-TIC! Mixing up a floral shirt with a floral-printed skirt may seem hard, but it is actually quite easy. Just make sure that the colors in your skirt or pants are also represented in your shirt or top. Still find it a bit too much? Try blending a white blouse with a floral fun skirt. Young, playfull but oh so chic at the same time.
My look of the week started out with the skirt. Yes it has florals, but it remains ‘safe’ because its white base. Combined with the top and the denim jacket it easily gets a more edgy look. Btw don’t you love the Mary Katrantzou for Longchamp bag?! I would take it to the beach and an afternoon shopping trip in Knokke immediately!!
